All of the American Craftsman corner joints are designed to provide air tightness and stability in your home. The joints are designed for easy assembly and will not allow the logs to move or separate.

Logs excel in the area that is most important to you — your comfort. A solid wood wall provides efficient heating and cooling in a way that is different from a fiberglass insulated frame wall. Solid wood walls store the thermal energy produced in the house whether it be from a pellet stove, furnace or a group of people. The result of this thermal mass storage is energy efficient comfort. You feel warm because the walls are actually warm. In a conventional frame house, you feel comfortable only when the heat source is in operation. Log structures require less heating and cooling energy than a variety of framed structures.
